Deciding on a new scent.
Each year, we try to add a product or a new scent to our collection, but this year, it has been harder than never. I particularly like soy candle with essential oils and aromatherapy, however, there are many fragrances out there that are absolutely amazing.
Perhaps, discussing the possibilities via this blog post will be a great way to make a final decision. Also, take this as an opportunity to talk about the importance of smells in our life (the good ones - lol).
Last year, on our trip to Ibiza, while going down to the beach in Portinatx (north of the Island), we could sense the smell of this wonderful field of fresh rosemaries in front of this wonderful villa. I could not help myself but rub the leaves every time I passed by that house.
It is something really special when the smell of something brings you memories, and that is why I love candles. You light it up and suddenly you are bringing back memories of a special time in your life. Passing by this rosemary bushes everyday is definitely a reminder of one of the many happy times I had in this magical island.
Going on the aromatherapy route, Jasmine is great. Not only helps with stress and anxiety, for the women out there, its benefits include: menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms. The problem is to find the right essential oil to go with it. If I go the fragrance route, I love the idea of having Jasmine combined with patchouli. Let's wait and see.
Moving on to a different scent but still in Ibiza, I know remember the jasmine flowers in front of our window in the apartment we rented out in Portinatx, north of Ibiza (highly recommended area if you are looking for tranquility). I like Jasmine tea, but limit myself as it often is infused with green tea or any other caffeine leaf.

Last but not least, there are another couple of scents that I have been willing to try out but did not have the courage yet. LOL. I would like to bring on board something more adventurous, such as Melon & Cucumber or Oak & Tobacco. I think the tobacco one would be popular. Both would be fragrance combined with our soy wax candles. I am sure Matthew (the other half) would go for one of those.
So that's it. If or when you check our website and there is a new scent being sold, you will know it will be one of those three. Also, please leave your comment or suggestion of different scents. I would love to hear it from you.
In the meantime, head to our website and make sure you grab one of our candles.
Until next time!
